Putting the Birthing Person in the Center of Birth

A doula is a non-medical person who provides continuous physical and emotional support throughout their labor and birth journey including prenatal and postpartum period.

We created a "ship" where people with spirit of being a doula (= doulaship) come together and voyage together the birth journey.

At Doulaship Japan, we welcome everyone who has doulaship, regardless of your title, affiliation, nationality, beliefs, or identity.

​

We provide information for doulas who support their clients as well as each other. 

We offer opportunities to learn together, deepen our knowledge, and empower each other.

Our hope is to become a vessel where you can meet friends who share the passion, and accompany each other into sailing into the birth workers' ocean.
